Acuvers Simultaneous & Consecutive Interpretation

Our team of certified conference interpreters can facilitate your communication in English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French, German as well as many other languages. Need an interpreter for your business negotiation or conference? We offer a tailor-made solution for you.

People in our business generally agree there are two main types of interpretation services, first simultaneous interpretation, and second consecutive interpretation, though some people have further categorized it into whisper, escort interpretation etc.

Simultaneous interpretation, as its name suggests, is almost real-time translation. The interpreter renders the message in the target-language as quickly as he or she can formulate it from the source language, while the source-language speaker continuously speaks. It is quite obvious that the benefit of this form of interpretation is non-interruption of the flow of such events as business conferences, industry forums, CEO talks etc where there is quite a large audience listening to one or a few speakers.   Consecutive interpretation, on the other hand, is when the interpreter speaks after the source-language speaker has finished speaking. It is the recommended form of interpretation for business negotiations, business interviews, press conferences, inter-governmental meetings and so on where a small-sized audience or delegates would be seated into two groups or sides of the table.
Let us quickly walk you through some of the events for which we have provided simultaneous interpretation over the last few years:   The following are some snapshots together with a list of events for which our company has provided consecutive interpretation:
